First IUI potential fail

I just had my first IUI on the 18/19 (they did the procedure twice). I’m about 11 DPO I guess, maybe 12. Just tested with an early detection test and it was negative :(. I know the success rates are low but it really blows my mind that the sperm can be placed right there, and I had two follicles and no issues and it still failed. Truly confused as to how anyone gets pregnant lol.

The TWW is unbearable. Since it’s so unbearable for me now (like crying every day in the second week) I’m going to IVF next cycled since the success rates are higher. But this community has been so helpful in keeping me as positive as I can be actually seeing some success stories.
