Leave for National Guard after LOG BOLC?

Probably a dumb question, but I'm a new National Guard 2LT and have no idea how this works.

I graduate LOG BOLC on Dec. 18 and was thinking about taking PTO(I only have 40 hours left) from my civilian job until after New Year's since work is usually dead around Christmas anyway. Once BOLC ends, do we just go home, or is there some kind of leave process? Just trying to figure out what to expect and inform my employer ahead of time.
