Feel a weird obligation to this game I love even tho I've kind of played my fill.
Marathon is an underdog. I love it. Only put in 135 hours but that's a lot for a dad with 2 kids. It's genuinely the best multiplayer game I've played in years and the art style is industry leading. The more I think about it the more I like it.
But after a two week break cuz of life stuff and a couple of abysmal matches with non communicative randos, I have to ask "Am I only playing cuz I want this game to succeed? Am I even having fun right now?"
Usually at this point with other mp games I've loved (gears of war 2, battlefield 1) I just move on and play something else. But poor marathon, the beautiful ol girl, I worry it needs every dedicated, communicative, friendly player it can get or it'll go kaput.
This is not healthy mental behavior for a 37 year old so I'm just farting it out here.
Also the kvv is fun now that they buffed it thank you have a great day.
