Making dishwasher powder easier to pour

I realized my grocery store still sells dishwasher powder (it's hard to find among all the pods) and made the switch.

I'm having a silly problem. The box is heavy and it's easy to pour too much by accident.

Is there a different container I could keep it in that makes pouring the correct amount easier? A scoop would work, of course, but [open box, scoop, put away] is three steps and a container that's easy to pour from would be one step that I can do one-handed. Like I said, a bit silly, but I do this every day sometimes with one hand sticky from handling dishes so I thought it was worth putting a bit of thought into doing it efficiently.
