Is P/S changing for 2026 MCAT?

I heard that AAMC is shifting from relying on pure memorization for PS to a more mini CARS version. Is that true and if so when is it taking effect because I'm testing end of August?

Also how are people studying for PS now cuz the AAMC FL's wouldn't be representative of PS anymore
