How do I disable "swipe up to talk" for a group?

My poor grandma keeps activating it by mistake, her mic is constantly on and anyone in the family chat can jump in and listen to what she is doing/saying without her noticing.

She can't find out how to turn it off, even if I text in the group so she opens the right conversation she cannot find the red button - it disappears after a while until you tap on the chat area again. The chat also keeps running in the background.
