asexuality, neurodivergence or porn addiction?

Need advice

to start i'm really sorry if i come off as offensive or ignorant or even dumb, but i'm genuinely confused and i've been for a long time. i just turned 18 and i'm in a relationship with a person i love deeply. it's my first relationship and it's a ldr for now, btw. we're together for a year now. i do feel sexual desire for him but it's not about the sex, it's more about the fact that i love him so much i want to connect with him in every way, but i don't see it as a need, just as a form of expressing my love. he is christian and he considers waiting until marriage and for me i really couldn't care less about doing it now or after marriage or even... never doing it at all. what matters to me is being with him, really. i feel curious. a lot. especially as someone who's never even held anyone's hands before, much less kissing and it's a shut-in. but i don't feel A NEED... never felt.

but something that really does confuse me is the fact that i'm fighting a porn addiction i have since my 13 years. nowadays is much more controlled, since my mental health has improved and since i found real connection with my bf, but it's still a habit that didn't go away completely yk, he also struggles with it and we're both doing our best everyday to break free from it.

i can't masturbate without porn, my mind often feels out of air. that's prolly a combo of the addiction + adhd. the urges i feel sometimes are never about sex but about the high yk. i can feel romantic attraction and all, i can't feel sexual attraction for a person i'm not romantically attracted by. but i just see it as a way to connect with a person i'm fond of but i'm just fine without it (and thinking about it now, maybe it's not that worth the energy). i often daydream about it because dreaming is easy and, yk... dopamine? i think the most logical thing to do is do my best to break free from the bad habit and see how i feel about it after my brain starts yk rewiring.

what i want to know is if anyone here shares the same experience and could help me with advice or something. idk if i explained myself correctly, no matter how much i speak i feel like it's never enough. but uhhh this is a very complex topic, i understand.

thank you for reading! :)
