ES350 puddle light staying on

2007 Lexus ES350

My passenger side mirror got knocked off. After that occurred my driver side mirror puddle light will not turn off. I ended up replacing the passenger side mirror. The replaced mirror puddle light will not turn on, but the driver side will not turn off. I just took off the passenger side door and attempted to reconnect the wiring to the new mirror and to no avail the driver side puddle light stays on. I honestly don’t care if they work, I just don’t want to walk out to a car with a dead battery everyday. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
