Feeling Stuck in CS
Hi, everyone. So I'm currently a CS student about to finish in December with one more semester left in the Fall. Recently, I've been in doubt about what exactly I want to do in computer science or the tech field as a whole. I never really knew what path I wanted to follow, I kind of got pushed onto the SWE path since that was the only one I hear of and I liked learning how to code at the time, especially having dreams of making my own websites. But after a completing a SWE internship last year in the Fall with a startup based in India, I'm still unsure if I still want to go down that path. The internship itself wasn't really bad in any means necessary; it was just "alright". I didn't fully enjoy and it didn't fully hate it either.
And even outside of that, I've been gaining interests in many different areas in tech like Data Analytics, Game Development, Web Development, UI/UX Design, and even Tech Sales somehow. It feels like I have to choose or do one thing when I have so many interests and desires and I'm running out of time. I've been meaning to talk to a friend that's in the AI space and see how it's like. But at the end of the day, it's been overwhelming. I haven't touched LeetCode or HackerRank in years and I'm honestly not sure if I ever want to. I'm just very stuck and worried on what to do at this point. I've recently been trying to complete/do several courses including the Odin Project and two other AI courses just to do something for the summer. But all I'm thinking and worried about is what to do in my current situation. I don't want to spend my post-grad months or years trying to figure this out on top of consistently looking and applying for jobs.
But if anyone (or everyone) could offer some advice/guidance, it would truly be appreciated.
