Current Exam v. NextGen in 2028

First of all, good luck to all of you who just took the exam this week! The ones that post on here - I am following all your journeys.

I'm planning to take the CA Bar exam in February 2027, and after hearing how horrible the July 2026 Bar exam was, I am a little bitter that California will switch to NextGen in 2028. I am not in a position to wait until July 2028 for the new exam, so I have to take the exam in the current format.

From everything I've been hearing and reading, the NextGen exam will be much easier (or at least much easier to study for).

This post is really just to vent because after seeing various posts about the bar exam that just happened, the anxiety is setting in early. I don't know if this is just the normal reaction after most bar exams or if these last few sessions have just been progressively harder. Either way, feeling anxious, scared, and worried for Feb 27, and hopeful for all you guys who just took the exam! For those who will have July 2028 as their first available time to take it, lucky bastards!
