A video might be all it takes to monetize a YouTube channel.
Hey guys,
We spend alot of time perfecting everything while waiting until things feel ready before posting.
YouTube rewards watch time more than view count. It always has, but matters even more . Make a video that earns every minute of its runtime then edit down not up. Cut anything that does not serve the person watching. If you would skip it in someone else's video, cut it from yours. A short video that holds most of its audience all the way through is better than a long video that loses people halfway.
Something else aloot of creators do backwards is recording the video first and then figuring out the title and thumbnail afterward. Decide the title and thumbnail first because those two things are the only reasons anyone clicks. Your thumbnail and title is the promise your video has to keep. When you decide them first, you make a better video because you know exactly what you are trying to deliver.
The first 30 seconds matter a lot. YouTube looks at your opening very keenly and most people who leave videos do it in the first 30 seconds. Get to the point.
Your comment section is not optional. Replying to comments is a strong trust signal in the platform. Channels that engage in the comments get more favorable treatment in recommendations.
Give people a specific reason to choose you over the other creators with the same niche.
