Any of you play with stretched res?

I saw a video of a guy using stretched res and very bright colour profiles (enemies, team, squad, yourself etc) like yellow, purple, green, red and first mistook it for something like oldschool Quake or Doom.

So today I did it, I went from my usual 16:9 1440p to 4:3 1920x1440p and changed all my profile colours to obnoxious and bright.

It was so much fun for some reason, targets appeared larger and the sprint animation of the gun swaying on screen moved faster. I also got a nice FPS boost.

I know there’s trade offs for stretched res and I’m not likely to make this a permanent move but it was fun to play with for a few hours. It got me thinking.
