What’s your reason for not collecting better but still affordable brands?

As a Marvel Legends, import, and third-party figure collector, I’m just asking, for all those who EXCLUSIVELY collect MLs, why?

I’m not trying to judge you for your choices or anything, nor am I trying to promote any figure companies that I’ll mention later.

I started out just collecting Marvel Legends, before moving on to imports, while still collecting MLs. I just recently got my first third party figure, a Mess Toys. It’s an amazing figure for such an affordable price.

So I see posts with just ML figures, and it makes me wonder. Don’t get me wrong, MLs are good figures for their prices, and to each their own, but what’s your personal reason for not getting these figures? I mean obviously I get not getting a Mafex, but I mean CTs and Mess Toys and other brands that are affordable yet decent quality.

Again, don’t mean to sound rude, I’m not judging you for only collecting MLs, and I understand this doesn’t apply to everyone. I’m just genuinely curious.
