Unbothered
Sadness never bothered me.
Sadness and I walk the same worn road.
No matter where I run, so does he.
Yet all I feel within this body is myself.
We wander by the shore as the tide climbs to my feet.
So sad, I will never be.

I wrote this at a time where I was extremely sad, stressed out and just so mentally exhausted that all this sadness I had soaked up, just felt ended up feeling numb.
