Giant spoon for cooking?

Wanted a slightly bigger spoon than a normal spoon to try cooking like 2gs. Ended up with a big ass spoon I could cook 3.5 on I feel. It's pretty much just a bigger version of another spoon though. Would I still be able to cook a smaller amount on it easily? Can I even cook a large amount on it? For reference, it's on Amazon - Winco 11" Stainless Steel Basting Solid Spoon
