I watched my dad struggle with his pillbox for years, so I built an app that reads the bottle instead

For years I watched my father, and sometimes my wife, struggle with pillboxes and paper routines. Every med app I tried started with typing: name, dose, times, refills, all of it already printed on the bottle. I am a product designer, not a developer, and AI coding tools finally let me build the digital pillbox I had been picturing.

What it does: photograph a prescription bottle and it reads the label, builds the schedule, and reminds you. No typing.

The bet I made: no account and no server holding your data, because it is medication data. One exception, and I state it everywhere on purpose: the label photo is sent to Anthropic's Claude to read it, with your permission. That is the only thing that leaves the phone.

Launched this month, three updates in already. iPhone and US only for now. Free with one med, subscription to scan more. Would love blunt feedback on the scan review screen, the moment where you confirm what it read: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6788505158?pt=129125223&ct=reddit-sp&mt=8
