Unit coordinator says no special consideration at all for a midsem worth 30%???

Doing some bum ass commerce unit and the dude running my 2 hour class says that for the 30% “simulation” in week 6 there’s not special consideration so just “don’t be sick”, is this allowed I’m not often sick and have never got special consideration before but would be a shit way to lose a perfect gpa if I had to miss a week of uni for any reason. Is this allowed
