Where would you spend the last few days of Golden Week (October 5–7)?

I'm trying to decide where to spend the last few days of Golden Week (October 5–7) and would really appreciate your advice.

At the moment, I'm considering:

• Inner Mongolia (Hohhot and surrounding areas)
• Tianjin
• Lanzhou
• Shenyang

This will be my second visit to China. Earlier this year, I traveled during the Chinese New Year (I was based in Shanghai), so i have a good idea of what to expect in terms of crowds. Because of that, I'm not necessarily trying to avoid people altogether, I just want to choose the destination that offers the best overall experience during the tail end of Golden Week.

Which of these destinations - or perhaps another one - would you recommend, and why?
