Solo travel and lonely

I am on the airplane to American Samoa national park. It is going to be my 43rd national park.

My ex promised me that he would take me there. Then he dumped me . I can't wait for the next person.

I start travelling solo this year. But I frequently feel lonely and scared on the road. Solo trip is great. Have time alone thinking about life. Full autonomous. Sleep when tired. Eat when hungry. No need to care about other people. But it is still, lonely, and unsafe.

Is this just the life we deserve?
