How unrealistic is my plan?

Discussion

So ill try to keep this short.

5 years back I wanted to go to college for coding/game development until I realized the the coder doesnt usually have much creative say in the projects they typically work on, and I decided to take a different path.

Back then I wanted to make my own hero shooter. Now this inspiration has come back 10 fold, and I basically picked up where I left off. Problem is I do not code and I dont plan to learn since I have so many other hobbies already, I dont have the time.

So heres the game plan that I sorta came up with but I dont know how realistic it is. I plan to create all the visuals, balance numbers, assets myself. I can 3d model, Im passionate about balance and numbers, creating kits, drawing original character concepts, and map creation, writing lore (I have a very well thought out lore already). Basically I can do everything myself except for the coding. I planned to over the course of this year, design a base of several characters and their models, rig them, create simple animations, create 2 basic maps, and once the game is ready to be put together, seek someone to help code everything and release it on steam as a simple 1v1 and 3v3 mode (with the goal of making it a proper 5v5 hero shooter later). I also can edit videos and could create a very nice trailer, tiktok content etc.

My whole idea revolves around making a small example/demo and see how well its received, add crowd funding via cosmetics and whatnot and split the revenue with my coder. Since I do not have that much money to pay upfront Id be splitting whatever we make. Yes I know the market for hero shooters is saturated right now, I may wait for them to grow a little stale first, proper timing etc.

Im hoping my ideas, balance, and unique character kits will inspire a developer that specializes in coding to help? Maybe if they like my idea and see potential? If I already have all the assets created it should be a little more enticing? How plausible does this all seem?
