Easiest way to "hide" episodes?

I've got about 20 or so podcasts I don't regularly listen to. Maybe once or twice a year. I stashed them away in a folder, which works out well. But they still keep downloading/adding new episodes. I have auto download disabled, same for notifications. I set Auto Archive to Custom, 1 Most recent for the limit, which does help so there's not as much to manually go through, but it's still a bit much.

I do have the "new episode" badging on, which I wish could be disabled per-episode, but whatever.

Is there an easier way to do this? I'd rather the shows I rarely listen to just not auto-update.
