BOP: Use it or WAIT?

I’m curious, my 35 months TIS is coming up and I want to use BOP (OCONUS to CONUS) but I’ll have to reenlist. Advice I’m getting is to not use it for now and instead go through the normal cycle. And use my BOP once I’m at my next base which I’ll have to be at 8 months TOS before I can use BOP. What do y’all recommend?
