I understand that his actions were wrong and he shouldn’t leave Nikki suffering like this. However, the devastating question what so wrong about being with me. Let’s pretend that the wish doesn’t exist. Imagine that Bear and Nikki actually start dating, their relationship doesn’t work out. Bear gets into an argument with Nikki, and somewhere along the line, he hits the quote, “What’s so bad about being with me?” In that context, it would actually define his character. I believe that in both contexts, the quote kind of sums up what he meant in a poetic sense. What’s so wrong about loving me or accepting me? I don’t think the quote was devastating I believe the quote was

A Sad Joke

That what he thought of himself not good enough to be with them

But I think it was the answer that Nikki gave to Bear that “she had never been with him”. Most people wouldn’t give an answer to someone who had done horrible things to them. But deep down, Nikki really did try to get through with Bear. And I believe Bear wanted to make it work because he was afraid of being alone. He didn’t want to go back to that loneliness that he realized he had two things in his life that are gone: his grandma and his cat. Which also included Nikki she was the only reason for living at that point. So other words, no I am not defending of bears action. I’m just understanding his character a bit you kind of feel bad for a monster, that relate to us no one likes to look at a mirror

But the question is “what’s so wrong about being with me”

I never thought the quote “What so wrong about being with me” was an evil statement it was just a sad joke
