Has anyone ever successfully appealed for more aid due to a medical condition?

Hello. I recently got a medical condition that is causing a bit of a financial burden. I don’t want to go into too much detail😅, but it involves physical therapy visits, neurologist visits, and expensive medication. I currently receive financial aid through the school that is enough to cover tuition. Before all this fiasco happened, the extra portion was not too difficult of a burden. Now it is unfortunately Too much for my family.

Can anyone give me advice for appealing for more institutional aid due to medical reasons? Thank you 🙏
