hello reddit!!

i measured the big pieces of my
room layout and out them into a floor plan maker, as it helps me easily visualize what my new room will look like. the left side is my current room, the right side is what it'll look like after moving houses.

i'll definitely lose a lot of space as its smaller
and i have lots of stuff, which will be hard to fit into a room this small.

issues i need help working around:

1.	the bed
2.	the biggest problem is my bed because it's huge, i know 😞 however, i'm a minor (parents don't allow me to make my own money + buy my own bed) and my parents are VERY much against me getting a new one. moving is expensive, but even after moving and earning money back, getting a smaller bed is a hard no and they even get angry at the suggestion. it's pretty annoying because this makes it so my bed is still slightly in line with the door, and it takes up almost half of my room. (it's a queen sized bed, there is no storage underneath and its a regular bedframe)
3.	placement of different pieces of furniture
4.	- i do lots of art and drawing, so i have a cabinet next to my desk which has many art supplies and stationery. there's no room on the wall so i moved it by my bed. i rotated it as it wouldn't be able to open the other way. is this the best spot?

\- unsure what to do with my mirror and where to place it (that black line that looks like a slash / ) i'm not very comfortable with it facing directly towards my bed, even if i do cover it at night.

\- the original room as two ikea kallax shelves. my closet will (probably) be tall enough to fit one, and the two dressers in the original closet can be stacked on top of one another.

any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated!! i feel so stuck :(

any tips on how to make my room more liveable/spacious?
