Regex 2.4.2 — Swift Regex tester for Mac

Regex is more than a decade old, and I’m refreshing it.

I make Regex, a native Mac scratchpad for testing Swift Regex. Regex 2.4.2 adds:

• Separate empty, invalid, zero-match, and matching states
• Live match highlighting and counts, captures 0–8, and i, s, and m options
• A live read-only replacement preview with $0–$8 capture references
• Escaped copy and unescaped paste
• Opt-in recovery for one local workspace, off by default
• English, German, French, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Latin American Spanish
• Patterns, Test Data, and replacement previews are processed locally. Regex has no uploads, account, cloud sync, or app analytics.

It is a US$13.99 one-time purchase on the Mac App Store. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/regex-tester-builder/id422501241?pt=94167010&ct=reddit-rmacos-regex-242&mt=12
