Smart cruise / regula4 cruise control

2026 x5 50e about 13000 mile.

I was on a highway in MI and suddenly my cruise control disengaged itself. I couldnt reengage neither of cruise control for about an hour.

I finally pulled in to a rest area.

Did a soft reset, disconnect my phone (BT, wifi). Walked far away from the vehicle for a good 10 min.

Cleaned the front radar (had two large bug splash)

Once I restarted the car the cruise (driver assistant and regular) came back on.

It was a scary moment. Thought it gonna cost a few thousand $$ And 17 hrs without cruise control.
