Elastic / hook and loop capes

What is everyone's thoughts on elastic / hook and loop cape. When there are no snaps or velcro. But a hook that connects and the cape itself has a elastic neck. My partner is going to cut my hair at home. Looking at capes and alot are the elastic style.
