I met this beautiful guitar in an online second-hand market. I like it very much and I brought it without hesitation.

It has alder body, ebony fretboard with less color variat, and a pair of KIESEL Holdsworth pickups.

The neck is amazingly comfortable, it is not a thinner or a thicker neck profile. And the fretboard radius is 20'', super flat, which allows me to reach some crazy Allan Holdsworth Chords much easier than my Ibanez RGA121. The lower body cut also helps a lot.

Recently, I just feel the original pickups are not really suitable for some Hi-gain situation. Yes, I can get some really nice and tight tone by hitting the string very hard, but my wrist seems that cannot handle it for a long time. So I decided to change the pickups.

And now, it is a Seymour Duncan TB-16 on the neck (hotter than a SH-1n, and has some interesting hi-end), and Wild (Bill Lawrence) L500XL on the bridge. These pickups give me more powerful tone in Hi-gain situation, I like them very much.

Unfortunately, when these two humbucker working at the same time (position 3 of the selector), it sounds like they are inverted (I'm not sure if I describe it corretly). It sounds small and shriveled.

Considering the special structure of the TB-16 (unbalance coils), I don't wanna change the wiring of the selector. Can I just flip the TB-16 180 degrees to install it to solve this problem?
