40s [F4M] Pls don’t be boring

I'm not new to this world, and I'd guess you're not either. But what I can't seem to find is someone who actually wants to engage in conversation besides the basics. I want someone to ask about my day, give me recommendations for a TV show we can binge together, or tell me about your favorite coffee place and I'll tell you about mine. I want conversation that flows naturally, I deal enough with pulling teeth during the day that I don't want to deal with it when chatting to someone I'm interested in. My work days may be a little tough for communication, but for the right person I will always make time as long as they do the same. I'm not looking to leave my situation, but I'm looking for someone to be by my side as I navigate life and help them navigate theirs. Mutual interest, respect and care are really important to me. If you're still reading, tell me the best coffee combination you've come up with lately.

As for me, I'm happy to open up more to the right person but I'm married, I have a grown child, I manage my career, I enjoy doing little remodeling tasks and being outdoors as much as possible. I'm 420 friendly but I don't drink. I'm really hoping to find someone worth my time as much as I'm worth theirs.
