Whats the drama thats happening towards the studio?

Im new to the game and community and ive been streaming the game on twitch and been told I shouldn't be encouraging people to buy this game due to the studio and I cant find a consistent answer on what they did bad. What's the main thing going on rn with them to help me understand.
