Value Wheelset under 750 fitting wider tires
I don't know anything about bikes, but I lost my car and didn't make sense to buy another so I've gotten big on biking recently. After 3 flats in quick succession I'm trying to go tubeless and change the wheels on my Marin DSX 1. Also just kinda want to try upgrading. Budget in total $900, assuming <$200 LBS labor, so $700 for wheels. I'm in MA, USA.
I'm probably running 45c tires on them because that's what I have now, but could run narrower later.
I found a couple possible options that I think fit my bike:
$700 Reserve 30 GR Al
$600 [Mavic Allroad S](https://www.competitivecyclist.com/b/mavic-allroad-s-wheelset?skid=MAVZ28A-CEN-HG12X12X&CMP\_SKU=MAVZ28A)
My local bike shop also said they have $450 Quality Wheels Shimano 105/DT R500 Wheelset - 700, 12 x 100/142mm, Center-Lock, HG11 MTN, Black, 32H, but it seems the above wheels are much better?
Any other suggestions appreciated?
I'm about 100kg if that matters.
