What's up with the apparent lack of mosh pits?

Seeing them on Sunday. Saw them 2 summers ago and it was one of the wildest pits I've been in at least in recent memory. It outdid some heavier bands I've seen recently. Apparently there hasn't been much moshing so far? If so that's disappointing and I hope we can change that in Toronto.
