Front opening tank?

Enclosure Help

I’ve had a Leo for about 3-4 years now, I love her a lot and she’s a sweet and hardy little thing, but I’ve been progressively feeling worse and worse about her living conditions. I’m really care about temperature, she’s got a hide, good water dish, and a jar of moss for moisture, but she’s in what I think is a 10 gallon tank, because when we got her it was what we had on hand, and she has to share my reptile space with my sand boa, so the amount of surface on my hutch didn’t allow for any larger. But I’ve recently moved and now have a place to myself, as well as a hutch with a shelf on the bottom that should fit my boa’s tank, even if it doesn’t I have the freedom now to get another surface for my Leo. I’m planning up on scaling up, as while she’s always seemed pretty comfy even in the tight space, I’ve noticed her getting restless, showing herself into weird spots, and dragging her moss out like she wants to dig (she currently has one of those fabric easy wash mats, which I WILL be changing as it’s caused issues with shedding)

She currently has a top opening tank, but I’m really considering a front opening one, I know it’d probably be a little less stressful on her (though honestly she’s the most spitfire pet I’ve owned, even when I do startle her from above she’s never fazed) but mostly what I’m worried about is I’ve seen enough posts on here about people losing their pet, and it seems to mostly be from front opening tanks :[

Basically, is it enough of a risk, with her being okay with a top opening, that it’s not worth it? Or is there certain brands that are bad about coming open that I should watch out for. A good threeish inches below the doors would be ideal, as I’m gonna try and do a much more natural environment with substrate, and maybe self sustained with springtails and isopods. Any recommendations on that would be great, or even recs on finding the proper substrates and such that she could bury in, I’ve found a few kits, but those seem pretty pricey, and while I’m willing to put out quite a bit to make up for the not ideal tank size and flooring, if there’s a budget option it’d be good to know :] thank you
