Basement Flooring replacement

I am trying to replace basement flooring in Calgary (for climate). I don't have a walkout basement. I currently have thick carpet.

I am thinking to go Vinyl with Underlay (dricore or dmx 1-step). Vinyl i have options for SPC at Costco and Loose lay Vinyl. Anyone with experience with Underlay and type of Vinyl here in calgary. What would be the best combination and investment?
