Fighting Adeptus Mechanicus

Have you had success playing against AM with Tyranids and what were your keys to success? Their shooting is 4+ and their melee is 4+ so I am wondering how they will fair against monsters or a gun line. They all look susceptible to SITW with 8+ Leadership. I am sure their characters are full of tricks.
