While sixteen teams were grinding through the Group Stage just to earn a seat at the table, JiJieHao walked straight into the Playoffs. A direct invite via VRS Europe meant no qualifying gauntlet, no early elimination risk — just a clean runway into the bracket that actually matters.

That's the kind of placement that can go one of two ways. Either the rust shows immediately, or the rest gets converted into sharpness. JiJieHao picked the second option, and they did it in the hardest way possible.

# A Marathon Before the Sprint

Their first opponent, Entropy, didn't hand them anything. Map one on Ancient turned into one of the longest maps in CS2 history — 54 rounds to decide a single map, with 30 of those coming in overtime. That's not a close game. That's two teams refusing to let go of the round, trading momentum back and forth until something finally broke.

JiJieHao were the ones who didn't break. They closed it out 2:0, and however clean that scoreline reads now, the map count tells the real story: this wasn't a bye-round beatdown against a lesser opponent. It was a survival test disguised as an opening series.

# The Roster Behind It

m1N1, sinnopsyy, Bibu, CacaNito, and 0SAMAS make up the lineup, with mithR calling the shots from the coaching seat. Nothing about this roster screams "superteam" on paper — but the Entropy series wasn't won on paper. It was won in overtime rounds where composure matters more than star power, and that's exactly the kind of test that tells you more about a team than a clean 2:0 ever could.

# What's Next

That win locks JiJieHao into the Quarter-Finals, where GenOne is waiting — a team that dispatched ex-RUSTEC comfortably to get here. GenOne will be rested. JiJieHao will be battle-tested. Which version of "prepared" wins out is exactly why this one's worth watching.
