Anyone having the wheel on their arkpro ultra get stickey?

Had it about 3 months, carry it daily and it sees a lot of automotive work. Almost like how the hinge on a pair of pliers gets stuck when they get wet and sit for a little while, the selector wheel seems to be doing the same. Can I just hit it with a little WD40 and work it back and forth to loosen it? Will that cause more issues? Thanks.
