Domestic Travel - California

I filed a pending VAWA and adjustment of status concurrently last December 2023. I was married to a US citizen within six months of my entry, but I haven’t submitted any adjustment of status due to the abuse that effectively put me in a no-active status for nine months before I submitted my VAWA concurrently.

Fast forward, I now have a pending VAWA and adjustment of status with an approved COMBO card and a real ID in California. A month ago, I traveled domestically by air from LAX to SFO and vice versa without any issues. However, I traveled again on July 28 from LAX to SFO smoothly and plan to return to LAX tomorrow. I’m afraid of flying back due to the increase in reports and news I’ve seen on social media about ICE arrests. Although I know I have a COMBO card, I don’t want to risk it, so I’ll go back to LAX by bus instead (Flix/Greyhound).
