Anybody have advice for those dealing with heartworm?

hello po! currently po my dog’s ehrlichia has reoccured, updated naman po nexguard niya kaso hindi spectra kasi natakot po ako sa mga adverse reaction na nabasa ko noon. one day hindi siya kumain ng breakfast, pinatest ko agad, blood work was normal pero hindi parin sya magana kumain the next day so I had her checked again, her platelets went from 200+ to 18 in just a day. Sabi sa akin ng vet, let’s also test her for heartworm kasi hindi sya nakikita sa blood work so ayun na nga, faint line pero positive parin. Any advice po how to deal with it kasi afaik wala na daw po yung fast method dito sa pilipinas. Her cbc results were good after a week on meds (doxy, prednisolone, thrombopro, tawa tawa), she is to continue her medicine for a month tapos monthly simparica trio nalang and doxy po uli sa January before her next test. strictly cage rest po and she is on healthy heart (supplement), ask ko lang po sana paano po kayo nag ddeal po with ganun situation? masigla na nga po siya pero may onting hingal din po (ganito din po kasi siya on prednisone before) and matakaw po siya and taking meds. how long po until you started seeing na your dog is truly getting better? Hindi po kasi ako mapakali kaka isip kahit i can see naman po na ang laki ng improvement niya.
