Matikanefukukitaru Abillty

This could be a dumb question, but with the way her ability is worded, does that mean she can be used as a support to help my umas get in the lead in team trials? Im running chaser suzuka, and ik it sounds weird but I just wanted to, and the goal for her is to get her in first place right as the final corner ends, and reading i to the abillty, im not sure If it'd help suzuka by opening the pack up. Does anyone know how it affects team members?
