Would you rather get a job without submitting your resume or use your resume to get a job!

So, the current job market sucks. At least that's what I think. So, I noticed that you could add keywords to your resume and submit before a certain time and you would have more probability of getting the job. But I don't find any benefit whatsoever of having a model where candidates upload their resume and feel candidate marketplaces like Hired (Currently not available publicly) are better. So, what do you guys think? Is the resume submission model actually good?
