this place feels like it has no soul

forgive me, i’m a bit buzzed rn. I’ve lived here my whole life and i have to say, this place sucks the soul out of single people in there 20s. god it just feels like if white bread was a place. I’m not going to deny this is a great place to raise kids or retire. Even the entertainment feels like incredibly corporate. Sure we got KC 20 minutes with places
that feel like they were created by real people but going there isn’t the same as being a part of the communities. idk maybe everything i’m saying can be applied to all suburbs and my complaints are being targeted at poor ole OP. Before any of you suburban truthers come at me with the whole “if you don’t like it just leave” bit, don’t you think I would if i could? this is all just personal rant really, if you’re happy here i’m actually quite jealous that you can find happiness in the place i’ve called home my whole life, don’t take it for granted because i would give a lot to love where i live.
