Disagreement on homeschooling

My oldest is starting kindergarten this year. I've been planning it for over a year and have had numerous conversations about public vs homeschool.

Today I was telling my husband about some outings I have planned that im excited about. He said I "have some weird fantasy about being a homeschool mom". I reiterate that we both agreed and he could have told me sooner if he wanted him in public. He said "I agreed cause it's something you want to do but it's just kind of weird"

I guess im mostly posting to vent. It felt like I shouldn't talk to him about himeschool because if I come across to "passionate" it's "weird". That's going to make the school year difficult, to not have support from my husband.

Has anyone homeschool with a spouse that wasnt super supportive?​
