Broke toe right before wedding... Spiralling!

Other

Hi everyone, I saw someone post about being distraught due to possible rain on their day, and you were all so kind in helping them reframe... so I wanted to ask for advice, or maybe just commiseration.

I broke my toe at 2 am the night before the bachelorette during a deep cleaning sesh (friend was going to stay over, ended up not due to hand foot and mouth disease... The crises never cease). I tried my best during the bachelorette, but it was definitely not what I imagined; c'est la vie, I guess.

This is after months of intense emotional drama within the wedding party (some now ex-wedding party...) and lots of grief triggers for my fiancé. Further, my dress came back reeking of aquarium from the dirty tank in my seamstress' basement (🤢), which is what I was panicking about at the moment of the cursed toe stub.

But now the wedding is in a week (!!), and I'm unbelievably downhearted. I know I can't change anything, but it just feels like NOTHING is going right. I cry anytime I think about our first dance, or the perfect heels that took me weeks to hunt down, or my lopsided walk down the aisle. For context, we've been together for 13 years, so we've been planning this for a while!

I can walk, so I know this isn't the end of the world; but I am really struggling with grieving how our wedding was supposed to go. Can anyone offer some advice to keep me from spiralling into "everything is ruined"? I don't know if anyone's been in the same situation (lol), but how did you handle everything falling apart right before your wedding?

TLDR; months of wedding drama ended in a broken toe 2 weeks before, feeling distraught; seeking advice/reframe!
