Looking for a Real time tracker

Looking for some suggestions on a real time gps tracker for my son with autism. He’s 20 and starting to go a lot more places on his own - day program, day trips with the day program, work, etc. We bought a Life360 tile that goes into a special shoe insert but it unfortunately does not track him in real time like our phones do. He won’t tolerate a watch, so I’m looking for another one that fits into the shoe insert (circle shape). We are willing to pay a subscription fee if that means making sure he is getting to where he’s going safely. TIA!!
