I'd love for Christopher Nolan's next movie to be an adaptation of **The Divine Comedy**

General

After watching *The Odyssey* and talking about it with some friends, I started wondering what Nolan could do next. Somehow *The Divine Comedy* popped into my head, and now I can't stop thinking about it.

The idea of a nearly 4-hour film (something like 3 hours and 58 minutes) following Dante and Virgil's journey through Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven sounds incredible to me. Nolan's scale, visual style, and interest in philosophical themes feel like they'd be a perfect fit for a work this ambitious.

I know it's an incredibly difficult book to adapt, but if anyone could pull it off, I'd love to see Nolan take a shot at it.

What do you think? Would Nolan be a good choice to adapt *The Divine Comedy*?
