What's going on with Aion 3.0?
I've been using Aion 3.0 for creative writing when it came out and replaced Aion 2.0. Starting recently, there's this problem where it'll mix up details, especially between characters, and say things that don't make sense, almost like a lapse in logic. An example for the first thing is, if one character drank a beer but the other did not, it will mix up who was drinking. An example of the next thing is, it will write something like "she took off her shoes β but she had nothing to take off because she wasn't wearing any shoes." It drives me mad.
I've noticed that it seems to write better when the thinking block is long and with procedural steps written in point form or a 1, 2, 3 format. When it writes a short thinking block, that seems to be when the problem arises but I'm pretty sure that can't be the only cause.
I know about the 50k context limit for all free models which is what I originally thought the problem was. The thing is, the ring that shows the context limit doesn't even fill up completely before I have this issue. It happens even with less than 30% of it filled. It even happens on the second or third message.
I've asked it out-of-character why it's doing this and if it remembers the finer details of the narrative. It tells me it does and can correctly tell me what it did wrong. It then promises it'll correct itself going forward but then continue to make the exact same mistakes.
I really am frustrated by this because there was a point where the model worked so well. I use the mobile app if that information helps.
