I hope Andy Weir writes a sequel that takes place 100 or 1000 years later

I'm just thinking of a time where humans and eridians formed a space coalition and now also co-exist with maybe other alien species, like other sci-fi movies but more on the realistic side of diplomatics instead of just epic drama/sci-fi fights which are the most common.
