Not sure if this is off topic, but I have a lot of models and I wish I could open my own museum but I don’t have the funds or space to open one. My next choice is an online Museam with posts on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. What do you think of this sample post?

Exhibit: Grumman XF5F-1 Skyrocket
\[1/72 scale MPM plastic model\]

History: The Grumman XF5F-1 Skyrocket was an experimental twin-engine naval fighter prototype developed for the United States Navy in 1940. Instantly recognizable by its unconventional silhouette, the aircraft featured a short central fuselage whose nose ended behind the leading edge of the wing, counter-rotating Wright R-1820 Cyclone engines, and twin tailfins. Designed to achieve high speeds and exceptional climb rates from aircraft carrier decks, the Skyrocket outperformed contemporary single-engine fighters in early flight tests, reaching top speeds of 383 mph. However, persistent engine cooling issues, landing gear complexity, and poor forward visibility during carrier approaches led to extensive design modifications, including extending the nose forward of the wing. Though the single prototype never reached production before being struck from navy records in 1945, the lessons learned from the XF5F-1 directly informed the development of Grumman's successful land-based twin-engine fighter, the F7F Tigercat.
